Such a cool use of our Velvet Ears track, "All Alone" by David O'Dowda on a promo for the final season of The Americans on FX.
After losing T, one of our co-founders (and one of the inspirations for our company name) at the beginning of the year, our office (and our hearts) have just felt really empty. We knew we needed to find someone really amazing to fill T's shoes, so we reached out to to the incredible volunteers at Labrador Rescuers and now we are happy to announce our newest furry employee - meet Bella (or Bella Buoy as she's been nicknamed by our son). She's a 6 year old Golden Retriever and just the sweetest pup. She has great music taste, and the velvetiest ears around.
We are so excited about our upcoming project - Patrick Melrose - starring Benedict Cumberbatch for Sky Atlantic & Showtime.
Studio 54 had his world premiere this weekend at Sundance! The party kicked off with a performance by Nile Rodgers and Chic at the RiverHorse club on Saturday night, and the premiere the following day was packed.
The first official reviews are out...
"There’s a memorable moment in “Studio 54,” Matt Tyrnauer’s thrilling and definitive documentary about the fabled disco haven, in which the camera glides through the gilded lobby of the old theater the club was built in, approaching the doors, the beat throb-throb-throbbing in the muted distance. The camera then pushes through the doors and onto the dance floor, the music — it’s Sylvester’s “You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real),” the greatest disco song ever recorded — now turned up and transcendent, and for a moment we feel like we’re melting into the elation of the writhing horde."

So happy to announce that Velvet Ears won a Production Music Award in the Best Contemporary Classical category for our song "Things We Love" by Stefano Ruggeri. It's been a big year for Stefano who has already taken home two ASCAP awards in 2017! We love our writers and it's always nice to see them being recognized for their incredible talent!
